From the earliest days in his profession Dr. Romanelli became involved in organized dentistry at both the state and local level. He has participated in leadership conferences and volunteer opportunities and in time was elected President of the Central Coast Dental Society (CCDS), a subsidiary of The California Dental Association (CDA). In keeping with his commitment to serve the dental profession, he began a long record of serving on numerous counsels and committees at the local, state and even national level (American Dental Association (ADA)). In 2007 he began volunteering on the Board of Managers for CDA Presents which plans and administers all aspects of the semi-annual state dental conventions and where he currently serve as Chair.
In addition to volunteering to serve the dental profession, Dr. Romanelli has a long history of volunteering to provide dental care to patients locally, throughout the state and even internationally on occasion through missionary dental programs in Baja, Mexico. For over 25 years he has helped to organize and provide local school dental screenings and provide volunteer follow-up care. In recent years he has served as a Lead Volunteer/Organizer with CDA Cares, the semi-annual volunteer dental clinic which routinely provides free dental care to over 2000 dental patients each 2-day clinic. He is a regular sponsor of educational, youth sports, church, philanthropic and humanitarian organizations through his donation of time, effort and money.
Dr. Romanelli is honored that his successful dental career has allowed him the opportunities to generously give back to his community and the dental profession.
